NEW ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE!
We are happy to announce the release of Still Alive, the 5th studio album from Tiger Moth Tales.
2020 initially promised to be a busy year for Pete Jones, with an album already recorded in January and various gig commitments with Tiger Moth Tales, Red Bazar, Francis Dunnery's It Bites and the usual pub gigs. But, Covid19 put pay to a lot of plans, as it did for most musicians.
Still Alive is Jones's take on the lockdown situation, and will no doubt appeal to the mixed emotions felt by many of us throughout these difficult times.
"This is not the album we had previously planned to put out, as we had already recorded a collection of new songs at Fieldgate Studios which for various reasons beyond our control is not ready for release yet. But like so many other things this year, this new mini album came out of the blue as a response to the times we now find ourselves in. There are different moods in the songs, inspired by my own alternating feelings. From visions of a doomed world and a growing tone of madness, to a desire to see the positives and the spirit of endurance and survival.
Hopefully the message is ultimately an uplifting one and will resonate with others." (Pete)
We're also happy to announce that this release includes a new bonus DVD of a session from the Tiger Moth Tales band, filmed live infront of an intimate audience at the fabulous Rockfield Studios in 2018.

New 'Red Bazar' Album...
The new Red Bazar album which features lyrics and vocals by Tiger Moth Tales's Pete Jones, is now available to order.
"The album 'Tales from the Bookcase' which we've been crafting over
the last couple of years is finally ready to be unleashed.
Red Bazar are a Nottingham based prog band, previously known for
their quality instrumental prog releases.
On this album they wanted to try vocals as they've always been
instrumental before. So it happily fell to me to work on lyrics and
vocal melodies to accompany the groove packed, atmosphere laiden
tracks. The result is 'Tales from the Bookcase' which takes (as the
name might suggest) some inspiration from novels and short stories. It
has also led me in to more serious and deep subject matter, which I
think will appeal to the more hardline proggers out there. No singing
goats to be seen here folks. It's been a great experience working with
a band and I feel like we all delivered for the creation of a cracking
album which I hope will appeal to RB fans and Mothingtons alike.
